Quietude

"Working as a Recreation Director while managing responsibilities across multiple facilities can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with very busy days, constant decision-making, and many moving pieces. Quietude has become a peaceful part of those days for me.

I truly enjoy listening to the saxophone sessions while I work. There is something about the music that helps slow down the noise around me, clear my mind, and keep me focused even when I have several things demanding my attention at once.

What I appreciate most is how effortlessly Quietude creates a sense of calm. I don’t have to stop working to experience it, the music simply becomes part of my environment, helping me feel more centered and focused as I move through my responsibilities.

Working in Recreation, I see firsthand the impact music can have on people. Quietude has reminded me that those of us caring for and supporting others also benefit from moments of peace, connection, and restoration. The saxophone sessions have become something I genuinely look forward to, especially on my busiest days.

Actually I do have a favorite 🤩

Scene 4, Quietude, is my favorite because I really enjoy watching Carl play with the running water and beautiful green forest behind him. It’s actually a little distracting in the best way. I find myself wanting to stop working and simply enjoy the video because the entire scene is so peaceful and visually pleasing. That’s why I chose to play this one during my lunch break, when I can truly relax and enjoy the full experience."
